From hide to heirloom
Selection
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned hides are selected one by one.
Cutting
Patterns are placed on the strongest parts of the hide and cut by hand.
Saddle stitch
Two needles and waxed thread — a stitch no machine can match.
Finishing
Edges are sanded, dyed and burnished. After final inspection, it is on its way to you.
